Are you planning to visit the Summer Capital of the Philippines but don’t know where to go?

Today's blog is about Wright Park in Baguio.



Travel time to Baguio City from Parrots Kun office is about 5 - 6 hours depending on the vehicle and the traffic. If you have a private car, it will be very convenient for you to travel but if you prefer to take public transportation, it’s also totally fine. You can choose between bus and van as means of transportation. Regular bus fare costs around Php 110 and more depending on the bus and departure area. Here in the Philippines, you can choose between two types of buses, ordinary bus (Without air conditioner) or air-conditioned bus. You can also choose van but it costs more, around Php175 and more depending on the departure area.


Travel tip: Bring snacks and lots of water. Travelling can drain your body’s energy. Stay energized and hydrated. The way to Baguio City can also have the heaviest traffic jams. Be prepared.


While on your way, enjoy the view. You will see a lot of beautiful mountain sceneries on your way. Don’t miss the chance to witness this view.


Just like any places in the Philippines. The King of the Philippine road is also here; Jeepney! If you want to save money for fare, jeepney is a wise choice for transportation. Don’t worry if you are a first timer in this place, native people are very welcoming here so do not fear to ask for directions. Don’t be shy, you can do it! Who knows, you might also make a friend here just by simply asking.
Travel tip: If you plan to take the jeepney, prepare your coins especially 50 cents coins. The amount of fare to the tourist attractions here starts at Php 8.50. It’s better to pay the exact amount.
But if jeepney is uncomfortable for you, you can always find a taxi here. ?
When you arrive in Baguio City, you will notice the difference of its temperature from the temperature in the lowlands. It is cool here all throughout the year so if you easily get cold, it’s better to wear thick clothes.

One of the best things to do in Baguio City is experience horseback riding. You can experience this at Wright Park. You can rent any horse that you want here. A guide will also come with you so you don’t have to worry about anything. These horses are well taken care of too.
