In today’s blog we are going to talk about Parrots volunteering.
If you have seen in the news the world has been struck by a pandemic called coronavirus disease (COVID-19). This disease has a flu-like symptoms that may cause fever, cough and shortness of breath. The disease is fatal for young and elderly and for those people who have a weak immune system. The Covid-19 can be transmitted through droplets from people who have been infected through the nose, mouth and eyes of the healthy. Thus, Government all over the world decided to implement the Enhance Community Quarantine for their citizens.


The Enhance Community Quarantine is where a certain place gets lockdown to minimize the interaction between people to prevent the spread of the said virus. But this quarantine has its pros and cons depending on a person’s situation. The pro is it will lessen the interaction between humans hence the virus will not be able to spread and will disappear but the cons will be citizens will be forced to stay in their homes which means they cannot go to work well there are companies that let’s their employees work at home but majority of the works in the Philippines is more on physical labor and not on the internet. In short “No work, No pay” for example the citizens in which they are drivers for public transportation.


With this happening Parrots Kun decided to give a helping hand for those in need of food supply. We have donated bags of rice to Lingayen’s Local Government Unit for them to give for the less fortunate in this situation.
