CONQUERING THE BATTLE IN COMMUNICATION

Not all people are given a good skills and be good at socializing or communicating. You might probably be having a problem talking to strangers or to foreigners most especially English speakers. But in the nook of life, you will realize how important communication is. It doesn’t necessarily means that you should force yourself to talk and talk every single day of your introverted life and pushing hard to be a good communicator. It simply means, communication is part of our daily lives, you just have to deal with it.

Imagine yourself inside a battle field, wherein your opponent is the person in the mirror. He’s staring at you now, holding back, uncertain confidence, anxious. It is the time to defeat the unliable series of ideas inside your mind, you can never rely on it nor believe with its deceptive thoughts. However, there are ways to conquer the battle field.

Don’t lose yourself in the process of building a better environment. If you think you can, you will. If you think you can’t, you won’t. Each day is an opportunity to learn, this is given to all human creatures. Be a lifelong learner, because learning is a long process.

Take advantage of your own weakness. You might think this one contradicts the common idea people have, but mind you it is not. You can actually take advantage of your own weakness, by making it as motivation to learn. Remember, weakness can be your strength.

There are only few good conversations the first time. One must take all the courage to talk especially when the language is not the same. Different languages can be one of the communication barriers. But in that kind of situation, you must talk to random people who have the same language as yours or for more challenging actions you should talk to English speakers or the natives.

He also said that as the workplace becomes more globally competent there will be several factors to consider if you are to communicate well in such a diverse environment.

Widening communication capabilities can help many aspects of life from social interaction, professional growth, and interpersonal communication. Knowledge is power. So in communicating you will be able to learn new things. It’ll probably help you boost your mind and social knowledge.
