From open fields, now let’s go uphill!
If you are into watching the sunrise, we got the best place for you!
After a 3-hour ride, Teacher Athalia got to her destination, Mt. Yangbew; the tallest mountain in La Trinidad, Benguet.
Surprisingly, it used to be a jamboree site for Americans. Hikers and even bikers love to take the trail up to the peak of Mt. Yangbew to witness this sea of clouds and the endless horizon painted with orange and red hues while watching the sunrise.
Clouds will clear up and you’ll get a good view of the City of Pines up above the summit. You can set up a tent to stay longer and enjoy the sight.
After treating your eyes with that relaxing view, don’t forget to capture this rolling grassland on your background.
Do you know that the grasses change colors with seasons? It turns green on the rainy season and chocolate brown during summer.
To complete your hiking experience, horse riding is a must try. You can rent these horses, ride on trails and further your discovery on this beautiful landscape!
The best view comes after the hardest climb! When things get rough like an uphill climb, think of this view from the top!
Thank you for following our blog. See you next week!
